A local councillor is hitting out at ambulance response times following a recent incident at a football match.
A Rory O'Moore player was injured during a Championship clash with Killeshandra in Butlersbridge on Thursday night.
Enda Henry came on as a substitute late in the game and was injured shortly before 9pm.
He subsequently faced a long wait for an ambulance, after an hour and fifty minutes club members decided to drive him to the hospital themselves.
Local councillor Brendan Fay feels very strongly on the issue, and believes more funding in the service is needed.
He spoke on the Joe Finnegan show this morning about the incident.
