Emission reductions of 25 per cent for the agriculture sector is "not acceptable" and "next to impossible" to achieve.
That's according to the IFA's Ulster/North Leinster Chair, Frank Brady, who claims that farming is the "only sector being targeted".
He added that a lot of things add to emissions, including a lack of public transport in rural Ireland which forces people to use cars, but "farmers are seen as the butt of all that is wrong".
Speaking to Northern Sound, Frank Brady warned of a food shortage and said these emission targets will exacerbate these issues.
