The new sports campus for Cavan is a step closer this week after contracts were signed in respect of the development. Cavan County Council in conjunction with McAdam Design have agreed to provide an architect led multi-disciplinary team for the design of the campus.
The local authority says that Cavan Regional Sports Campus is a "regionally significant" facility that will benefit all those interested in sport. It will be located south west of Cavan town in the vicinity of Kingspan Breffni and the Royal School Cavan.
