Gardai in Monaghan have reissued their appeal for information in relation to a serious assault, which, happened in the early hours of Friday. February 21st in Rooskey, Monaghan Town.
A man was assaulted in the vicinity of St Peter's Lake between midnight and 12:40am. He was brought by ambulance to hospital where he was treated for serious injuries.
Gardaí in Monaghan would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this assault or can offer information in relation to it.
