Revised planning has been lodged for a new housing development in Cavan Town.
Galetech Sustainable Living previously applied for a development of 30 new residential units in two three storey blocks at Tullymongan Upper, Cavan, however it was subsequently withdrawn. The new application lodged with Cavan County Council now calls for the construction of 22 own door residential units in two 2-storey blocks. This is altered from the initial application which saw 30 units being built in two 3-storey blocks. The 22 units would be comprised of six 2-bed apartments on ground floor level and 6 duplex units in Block A. While in Block B would be made up of five 2-bed apartments on the ground floor and and five one-bed duplex units above those. This revised layout has removed 2 three bed penthouse apartments which were due to be placed on the old three storey block. Further information on the previous application was requested in January but Galetech ultimately withdrew this application.
A decision on the new plans is due in May.
