Road closed following Monaghan collision

Emergency services are at the scene of a two vehicle collision that has occurred between Smithboro and Monaghan Town.

Gardai say the road is currently closed with diversions in place. The collision occurred at around 9:30am on the N54.

Local Gardai are advising motorists to avoid the area at this time.
