Concerns have been raised in Crosskeys over a very serious road safety issue, were telecom poles are blocking and hindering the sight of oncoming traffic for motorists.
The junction known locally as Conlon's Cross was raised by Councillor Trevor Smith at the June meeting of the municipal district.
The Fine Gael Councillor outlined that when pulling up to a junction in a vehicle, it's hard to see up towards Ballyjamesduff.

He told elected members and the executive that this is leaving the Kilnaleck junction very dangerous for local motorists.
Cllr. Smith says that thankfully the local landowner has the hedging and grass verge at the junction maintained which helps levitate the situation
