Parents in the Northern Sound region are worried about their school transport arrangements under the School Bus Scheme for next September.
That's according to Aontú's Sarah O'Reilly, who has criticised the scheme, calling it a lottery for children in the region.
The Cavan-Monaghan Senator says many families are concerned about pick-up zone distances due to unclear Government communication.
She warns that strict distance rules unfairly impact rural families with no alternative transport options.
O'Reilly is urging the Minister for Education to provide clear guidance on future transport plans.
