Scoil Mhuire in Clontibret will remain closed this morning due to a power outage. The local school is 'hopeful' that faults will be resolved by 10.30am, if so the school will re-open to pupils from 11am. A status yellow wind warning for the entire country is now in place. Met Éireann is warning of very strong winds, which could lead to difficult driving and cycling conditions. Counties on the west are also being warned of potential wave overtopping. The warning is in place until 8pm this evening.
