Sinn Féin's Sean Conlon is the new Cathaoirleach of Monaghan County Council.
He takes over the role from Aidan Campbell.
Meanwhile, Aoife McCooey has been named Leas-Cathaoirleach, taking over the position from Hugh McElvaney.

Cllr McCooey said it was "a very humbling day to be elected to this position after just three years on Monaghan County Council".
She added that she's "passionate about young people and making Monaghan a place they choose to return home to live, work and enrich".
And speaking to Northern Sound, Co Monaghan's new Cathaoirleach Sean Conlon paid tribute to the out-going Aidan Campbell and said he's hopeful for the year ahead:
