A group of men will gather in Smith’s Bar, Cootehill at 8pm tonight (Friday, November 19) to raise funds for SoSad Cavan and to remember their departed friend Daragh Boylan.
Mr Boylan died by suicide 12 months ago and his friends will hold a Shave or Dye fundraiser in an effort to raise some much-needed funds for the organisation which works to raise awareness and help prevent suicide in Cavan, Monaghan, Meath, and Louth.
Shane Clerkin, meanwhile, says SoSad is an important organisation that provides ‘vital’ support to people in their time of need:
