A spell of wintry weather is set to grip the country this weekend, with a series of Status Yellow warnings coming into effect.
A snow and ice warning applies to Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Connacht and Louth from 6pm tomorrow and will remain in place until 11am on Monday morning.
Temperatures are forecast to drop to as low as minus four degrees, bringing widespread frost and ice leaving for significant frosty and icy conditions across the country.
