A teenager is due to appear in court in Cavan over the coming days in connection to a drugs seizure in Ballyjamesduff.
Gardaí arrested him following the discovery of an undisclosed quantity of cannabis herb during the planned search of a property.
Gardaí say they carried out a search under warrant of a premises in Ballyjamesduff on Friday the 29th of August. An adult male, aged in his late teens, who was arrested at the scene has since been charged and is due to appear before the courts at a later date.

The spokesperson added that due to the fact the case was now before the courts, no further information is available at this time
