Two men have been hit by a train in Meath overnight, killing one of them.
It happened around a kilometre north of Gormanston station shortly before 9:30 last night.
A man in his 20s was later pronounced dead and his body has since been removed from the scene and taken to Navan mortuary.

A second man received treatment at the scene but was not seriously injured.
The line was closed for a time but has since reopened.
