The tender for a long awaited facility in County Monaghan has been published. Monaghan County Council are seeking a provider to construct the Fermanagh Street Business Hub in Clones. Plans for the new hub were first announced in 2021 with the development receiving planning permission in May of that year.
No objections were made at the time for a compulsory purchase order to acquire adjacent land to the site. The tender encompasses the construction of a new two storey building to house the hub, new car parking, and the construction of a new public realm space to the north of the site. Also included is the provision of accessible ramps and stairs, and
connections to mains and sewer networks. The tender is active until the 15th of July.
