Cavan-Monaghan TD Brendan Smith has highlighted his disappointment over the British Government's lack of concern when it comes finding answers for those who lost loved ones in the Dublin-Monaghan bombings.
Tomorrow marks 51 years since the local region experienced one of the worst atrocities of The Troubles.
Deputy Smith says there has "never" been a comprehensive investigation supported by the British Government and the Northern Ireland authorities in relation to this heinous crime.
Back in 2008, the then government, including representatives like Deputy Smith put a motion before Dail Eireann calling on the British Government to give access to all papers and files linked to the Dublin Monaghan Bombings.
Deputy Smith says this action has been repeated on four occasions, but unfortunately the British Government has "not responded in any meaningful way to those requests."
