Tributes paid to well-known Cavan hotelier

Tributes posted online describe Pat as a 'complete gentleman' and a man who enjoyed 'good hard work'.

Tributes are being paid to a well-known Cavan businessman who has died.

Pat Kelly, from Tullyunshin, Cootehill was the owner of the popular Errigal Country House Hotel in Cootehill.

He passed away this week at the age of 63. Tributes posted online describe Pat as a 'complete gentleman' and a man who enjoyed 'good hard work'. Many have spoken of the fond memories of him and his work in the hotel. Pat will repose at his home  today from 11am to 9pm.

Removal leaving his home on Wednesday morning at 11.30am, to arrive at St. Michael's Church, Cootehill for 12 noon funeral mass, followed by burial in St. Michael's cemetery, Cootehill.
