Two Cavan electrical wholesalers have won awards for their sustainable business practices.
The awards were organised by the Association of Electrical Wholesalers and recognise efforts of businesses who work to improve how waste lighting is recycled.
EWL's eastern Cavan branch was named 'Most Improved Branch', while Monaghan Electrical in Cavan took home 'Best Performing Branch'.

Speaking after the awards, Paul O'Brien from EWL Eastern Cavan said it was rewarding to know that they were making a difference in the environment.
