Two men have been charged with thefts from businesses around Monaghan town.
On Friday, the pair - aged in their 20s and 30s, were arrested in Monaghan on suspicion of theft, following reports from a local business that some "high end goods" were taken a short time earlier.
The suspects were identified and detained at Monaghan Garda Station for questioning.

They have since been charged with a number of incidents of theft from businesses around Monaghan town in recent days.
Investigations are ongoing.
