Two local men will represent the Northern Sound region at Macra's Mr Personality Festival.
The 18th annual Mr Personality Festival gets underway this weekend in The Hoban Hotel in Kilkenny.
23 year old Cormac Reilly will represent Cavan.
He lives between Virginia and Cavan and is an active member of Ramor Macra who enjoys interests such as agriculture, travelling tractors and machinery.
The Co Cavan farmer who only got involved with his local Macra group last year also had high praise for the work that Macra does, particularly when it comes to young people like himself:
Meanwhile, 26 year old Davie Mc Kearney will represent Co Monaghan at the 18th Annual Mr Personality Festival.
The Castleblayney man is an active member of the 3 Parishes Macra.
