Two businesses in Monaghan have been named in the latest tax defaulters list.
The fines total in excess of a half a million euro. Medical Practitioner, Brian Norton, located on the Clones Road, Ballybay, was fined 361-thousand euro following a Revenue Audit that found an under-declaration of Income Tax. Elsewhere, King Civil Engineering and Building Limited, with an address in Annalitten, Castleblayney were fined 164-thousand euro for the under-declaration of PAYE, PRSI, USC and VAT. Both businesses reached settlements to pay back the amounts.
In total, €15 million in settlements were reached in Quarter 3 of this year.
