Two people in their 60s were taken to hospital yesterday after their car crashed on the N2..
Only their car was involved in the collision which happened on the N2 at Broomfield, Castleblayney at around 3:30pm. Gardaí were called to the scene and emergency services attending took both occupants of the car to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
The man and woman were treated for non life-threatening injuries. Gardaí say their enquiries are ongoing.
