Two people have been taken to Cavan General Hospital following a road traffic collision on the N3 at Butlersbridge earlier.
The three-vehicle collision occurred at approximately 9:15am.
Emergency services attended the scene and a stop go system was subsequently put in place.

Those transferred to the local hospital are being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The road has since been cleared.
