Two vehicles seized by Gardai in West Cavan

A number of road detections have been made by Gardai in Co Cavan over the last number of days.

Members of the Cavan Roads Policing Unit seized two vehicles within a short time while on patrol in West Cavan.

Both drivers will now face a court date due to driving without insurance.

Some speed detections were also made on the N3 and on the 60km limit roads around Ballyjamesduff over the weekend by Cavan Roads Policing Unit.

Fixed Charge Penalty Notices were issued to all drivers.

Gardai in Co Cavan are urging people to please "slow down" and "keep local roads safe."
