US visitors to the region highlight the céad míle fáilte they've received

Hundreds of people from the United States converged on Monaghan this week for the Project Children celebrations.

One visitor told us of the céad míle fáilte she received while her stay in the farney county.

The American tourist hailed the wonderful community spirit that has received while in Monaghan. Over 250 people have travelled from the US as part of the celebrations to mark 50 years of Project Children.

A number of the visitors has been sampling what the region has to offer when it comes to tourism. This lady told us of her experience while in Monaghan Town.
