A local councillor has condemned an incident of significant vandalism at Lough Muckno in Castleblayney over the weekend.
The public toilets in the park have been damaged once again at the popular amenity.
Cllr Aidan Campbell says its unacceptable behaviour, adding this sort of activity cannot be tolerated. The temporary toilets are on site and are now operational but the hope is going forward that new toilets can be delivered for the popular location.

The local councillor said huge praise must go the the hard working staff of Monaghan County Council who brought the toilets back to working order. Cllr Campbell says vandals cant win and whatever can be done must be done to prevent this happening once again.
