Gardaí on patrol this week in Co Cavan stopped a 4x4 vehicle which had not been taxed for over 7 years.
An Garda Siochána's mobility device could tell that the tax on the vehicle in question in Ballyjamesduff had expired over 2,200 days previously.
A fixed payment notice will now be issued to the owner of the vehicle.

The Land-cruiser jeep , which also had no valid CRVT, was impounded by Gardaí.
