The Community First Responders in Cootehill is looking for more volunteers.
The group has been in operation for a number of years, and offers first responder service to the local community in support of the National Ambulance Service along with providing a community training and public access defib programme.
The current members of the group could get a call at any time and if available they go out.

This can make a difference in communities when it comes to quick responses to emergencies.
Speaking to Northern Sound, member Brian Conlon, explained some of the training involved.
