Voting is underway in the Presidential election.
Polling stations across the country opened at 7am and will remain open until 10pm this evening.
There will be three candidates on the ballot paper.
People will have three choices on the ballot paper - Independent Catherine Connolly, Fine Gael's Heather Humphreys and Fianna Fáil's Jim Gavin.
You don't need to bring your polling card to the station to vote - but you may be asked for photo ID.
When filling out the ballot paper put a number one next to your favourite candidate, a number two next to your second favourite candidate and a number three next to your third favourite candidate.
Marking your choice with an X or any other symbol runs the risk of your vote being spoiled.
The counting of votes will begin at 9am tomorrow morning.
