A water outage is expected to take place overnight tonight in the wider Aughnamullen area.
The Stroove - Aughnamullen scheme is effected by the planned outage from 10pm tonight until 6am tommorow morning.
The water outage will include Properties along the Magheross Rd, Ardee Rd and Kingscourt Rd.
Uisce Éireann say they continue to deliver the National Leakage Reduction Programme, fixing leaks and replacing old, damaged pipes across the country, to provide a safer more reliable supply of water to Irish homes and businesses.
As part of this Programme, Farrans Construction, working on behalf of Uisce Éireann are carrying out essential night works, tonight from 22:00p.m. to 06:00a.m, that will cause a water outage for properties Magheross Rd, Ardee Rd and Kingscourt Rd.
The works, once complete, will provide a more secure and reliable supply of drinking water for residents and businesses in the area, as well as reducing the risk of bursts and other operational issues on the network.
