A local TD says that she really believes we are living in dangerous times.
Niamh Smyth was responding to ongoing threats of the US President Donald Trump invading Greenland, saying she doesn't make the comment lightly.
She pointed to situation in Venezuela, as well as Iran where anti-government protests have been escalating.

Minister Smyth noted that she believes that Trump has the world in turmoil.
She noted that we need to ne really cognisant of the fact that in Ireland and in Europe, we live in a democracy and that is not something that should be ever taken for granted.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan show, the Fianna Fail Minister explained her response to the threats to Greenland.
