Gardaí and emergency services are at the scene of a fatal collision near Drogheda in Co. Meath.
The collision involved a car and a truck, and occurred at Platin Terrace shortly after 10:30am this morning.
The driver of the car, a female in her 70s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her body has been removed to the mortuary at Our Lady's Hospital in Navan.
No other injuries were reported.
The road is currently closed to facilitate a technical examination, and local diversions are in place.
