A woman has been seriously injured after being struck down by a tractor in Co Monaghan. The pedestrian, in her 30s, was hit on Main Street in Carrickmacross shortly before 6pm yesterday.
She was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where she's currently receiving treatment. The road is currently closed, while Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
