A 25-year-old woman is to go on trial later this morning in relation to being charged in connection with a fatal traffic collision, in which a pedestrian in her 70s died in County Monaghan.
Ceara Nolan of Cara Street, Clones is charged with dangerous driving causing the death of Elizabeth McGoldrick at Clonavilla, Clones on April 8th 2023.
Ms Nolan was arraigned yesterday prior to a jury being sworn in for the trial at Monaghan Circuit Court.

She pleaded not guilty when the charge was put to her in relation to the fatal collision.
The trial begins this morning in front of Judge John Alymer.
