A woman who died following a fatal road traffic incident yesterday has been named locally.
Anna Brady (née Kiernan) who is aged in her 80s was from Klnacor, Crosskeys.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a fatal road traffic incident near Crosskeys involving two cars occurred on a local road in Carrickatober at approximately 3:30pm.
The late Anna Brady was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to this incident to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 3:00pm and 3.30pm are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
