A major national conference on woodlands in Ireland is due to take place in Cavan in October. Woodlands of Ireland are hosting their national conference from October 1st to October 3rd at the International Scouting Centre in Castle Saunderson.
Themes of discussion will include Ancient Woodland on the island of Ireland, Protective Tree Cover in catchments and Community involvement in Forest Management. The conference is part funded by the Forest Service of the Department of Agriculture as a Forestry Promotion Project. Further details of the event including booking fees will be released shortly
