The World War One Trench Exhibition at the Cavan County Museum has reopened.
The trench replica was closed in October for renovation works which have now been completed on the project.
The experience will now be majorly enhanced at the popular attraction due to the significant works that has been carried out.

The trench exhibition in Ballyjamesduff opened 11 years ago and is the biggest of its kind in the UK and Ireland.
Catherine McGuiness, research and education officer at the Cavan Museum says it's a very exciting time for the museum, adding that the major renovation works that were carried out were about making it an accessible visitor attraction at the museum into the future.

She says that already some schools have booked in from September onwards already. Catherine says the facility that has seen people come from across the globe is open and she can't wait to see so many people learning and enjoying themselves at the museum.
