Tom Brady made history in the early hours of Monday morning when he lead the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a Super Bowl victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Quarter back who claimed a 7th Super Bowl title has strong connections to the County Cavan and helped the Buccaneers to a relatively easy 31-9 win over the defending champions.
It was Tampa Bays first Super Bowl win since 2003, with Brady's other 6 wins coming with New England Patriots where he spent 20 seasons.
Playing at their home ground the Buccaneers took in a 21-6 lead at the break, with Brady providing 3 touch down passes. He also become the oldest player to feature in a Super Bowl final with him now holding more titles than any of the franchised teams and has been named the games most valuable player for a record breaking 5th time.
