118 Covid-19 cases were reported in Cavan and Monaghan yesterday.
That’s a sharp increase on the previous day's figure of 44 across the two counties.
Cavan has today seen 80 cases confirmed, with another 38 in Monaghan.

The incidence rate in Cavan now stands at 909.7, and 402.4 in Monaghan.
Nationally, thirteen additional Covid deaths have been confirmed and 1,269 additional cases.
221 of the cases are in Meath, 203 in Dublin, 116 in Cork, 80 in Cavan and 649 cases are spread across all remaining counties.

312 patients are in hospital of which 34 are in ICU.
