Cavan-born performer to be 'honoured' in Carrick tomorrow. Six year old Séamie Séan Ó Braonáin, who was born in Co Cavan, became the breakout star of Thursday's Fleadh25 live broadcast on TG4.
The son of renowned Kíla musician Seanan Brennan and musician/actress Fiona Maria Fitzpatrick; who is originally from Belturbet, Séamie Séan has been immersed in music from birth and singing since he was two years old.
The Cavan born budding performer with a love for cowboy films, a sharp eye for dapper suits, a treasured 37-year-old vintage donkey, dreams of one day becoming an actor.
Last year, he began learning to sing and play the fiddle with Comhaltas Phil Rooney Branch Ballyshannon.
His golden moment came on Thursday night when TG4 presenter Aoife Ní Thuairisg spotted him backstage in his suit, waiting to watch his dad perform with Kíla.
She invited him to take the stage, and with that performance on TG4 Live Séamie Séan won the hearts of the nation.
