Cavan woman Anne Taylor was among members of the Sea Of Change Choir who auditioned for Britain's Got Talent. The group auditioned on January 12, receiving a heartfelt yes from each of the judges and a standing ovation from the crowd. The talented 'Sea of Change choir' also made it through to the finals of 'Ireland's Got Talent' back in 2019.
In 2017 Anne had surgery to remove a cancerous tumour on her throat. As a result of the surgery, Anne also lost half of her thyroid and there was a strong possibility that she would have no voice afterwards. Despite this, not only did Anne defy the odds but she has since used her voiced to inspire others and spread the message that there's "life after cancer."
