Aaron Hynes has been completing a January challenge for the past 5 years since his little boy Harry was born prematurely.
The Bailieboro native says the nurses and doctors in SCBU literally saved his life as unfortunately his lung collapsed shortly after his birth.
Since then Aaron has been raising funds for the Unit. This year he has been swimming 1k a day and will continue until the end of January when he will have completed 31km.

Ronan Gargan has been speaking to Aaron about how important the nurses and doctors have been to his boy Harry and how he raises funds for them each year in a away to give back.
