The Clarke Family from Co Cavan had a massive 560 shoebox drop off last week in Cootehill for the Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal.
The initiative aims to deliver as many gift-filled shoeboxes as possible to children, for whom poverty is their every-day reality.
The Family of 13 siblings, along with a tribe of kids, grandchildren and close friends all helped to fill the shoeboxes and are continuing their late mother, Agnes Clarke's tradition.

Helen Clarke spoke to the Wider View today. She said it all began 15 years ago when her sister Noleen began making the shoeboxes with another group of people.
