Cavan's GAA County Board has made a u-turn on its policy on use of cash for certain transactions.
The board has now introduced further options for patrons who do not access technology to attend games.
Moreover, it is being hailed as a "Goal" scored for cash-users in the Breffni county. Indeed, GAA fans can now buy books of tickets and senior citizens season passes. These will give access to all games at any level of any championship up to and including semi-finals.
Cavan's Aontú Councillor Sarah O'Reilly has been a vocal critic of the GAA's no-cash policy and campaigned for this change for some time. She has being welcoming the news from Cavan County Board and Ronan Gargan spoke to her before coming on air earlier today.
