Listen Back: Lengthy ambulance wait times locally raised in the Dail

A two hour and 20 minute wait time for an ambulance, at a Monaghan Town football game, has been highlighted in the Dail.

Deputy Carthy told the Taoiseach about a young boy waiting for an ambulance. The boy left in agony on the pitch for this length of time.

The local TD highlighted that a similar incident occurred 12 months ago in Castleblayney. Indeed, a child waited for over 3 hours for an ambulance in this case.

Deputy Matt Carthy said it wasn't good enough under any circumstances and he has been speaking with Ronan Gargan.
