A local councillor has hit out at the further delay to the planned opening of the new Garda Station in Bailieboro.
It was originally confirmed in recent months that the state of the art station would be completed and operational in April.
The office of public works have now confirmed to Northern Sound that the completion date will now be May.
Cllr Shane P O'Reilly says by the time An Garda Síochána take over the building and then get it operational it will be long number of months after that until its open and serving the community.
He believes it's imperative that Garda management nationally just get on with the delivery of the project.
Cllr O'Reilly has been speaking with Ronan Gargan.
