Help Our Homeless; who are based in Kingscourt; is desperately seeking volunteers to help people who are living on the streets of Dublin.
Moreover, they are currently looking for drivers to help with collections and outreach in Dublin. Along with volunteers in both Cavan and Monaghan.
Sonya McMahon from Help Our Homeless says the more the help they receive from local people and businesses the more they can help people that are homeless.

She says over the 6 years that herself and her family have been helping the homeless, things have only gone from bad to worst with the numbers on the streets. Sonya says the people of the Northern Sound region have been vital to the working that the charity does and she hopes further volunteers can be found in an effort to help even more people.
Ronan Gargan spoke in detail with Sonya on the programme this afternoon.
