Local pet represents Monaghan in national competition. The search for Ireland’s most beloved pet has reached a major milestone! Indeed, the final 32 pets chosen for the 2025 Nose of Tralee competition.
Furthermore, from over 1,550 entries; one pet from each of the 32 counties has been selected to represent their county; in this heart-warming national contest.
Now in its 12th year; dogs, cats and even a goat; have captured the hearts of the public with their stories, charm, and cuteness.
Moreover, each finalist will now don their official county nose sash and re-enter the competition. The final public voting stage opens on the 24th July.
8 month old Coco is representing Monaghan in the national competition. The playful puppies owner Wendy McCartney told Northern Sound that it's great that the cockapoo is flying the flag for Co Monaghan.
