Listen Back: Local resident highlights lack of Gardai in Monaghan

A Monaghan resident has raised concerns over the lack of Gardai in Monaghan Town.

Tommy Hagan is a local peace commissioner and a former councillor. He is calling on more Gardai to be stationed in Monaghan.

Mr Hagan believes it evident that there is a lack of Gardai.  Moreover, there is almost a non existent physical presence of Gardai patrolling the town of Monaghan. Furthermore, Mr Hagan says the government needs to act; and act now; to bring more Gardai to the region. Ronan Gargan has been speaking to Tommy about the issue.
