Locals urged to 'make the most' of sunny spell. We're being advised to make the most of the sunny and dry weather while it lasts.

That's according to Co Monaghan meteorologist Gerry Murphy. Indeed, temperatures expect to reach between 25 and possibly 28 degrees over Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Moreover, the RTÉ weather presenter says it's important for locals to take great care around water and to ensure they are protecting themselves in the sun.

Furthermore, as high pressures will dominate the weather over Ireland from tomorrow, Carrickmacross man Gerry Murphy is encouraging locals; particularly those in the farming community; to make the most of the good weather while it's here.
